Case Studies

Real work, documented with the limits left in.

Case studies should make the evidence clearer—not make the marketing louder. Neal's Services publishes a case only when the context, approach, deliverables, and outcomes can be supported and the publication basis is appropriate.

Publication Standard

The first published case is an internal practice case.

The first case documents Neal's Services' own consulting transformation. Future client cases require our client's permission.

Internal practice case

Rebuilding Neal's Services Around a Focused Consulting Model

An internal practice case showing how Neal's Services aligned its positioning, consultation workflow, client/admin systems, and authority content around a focused small-business consulting model.

Evidence boundary

Implementation outcomes only. No revenue, ROI, ranking, or client-result claim.

What a Case Must Show

Context, method, deliverables, and outcomes belong in the same story.

Real context

What the business was dealing with and why the issue mattered.

Traceable approach

How the problem was examined, scoped, sequenced, and implemented.

Concrete deliverables

What was actually built, changed, documented, or put into use.

Defensible outcomes

What changed, what is still unmeasured, and where the evidence stops.

Trust Standard

No client identity without a publication basis.

Identifiable client cases require appropriate permission. When anonymity is necessary, the case should remove identifying details, preserve the facts that make the lesson useful, and say clearly that the case is anonymized.

No Manufactured Proof

A case study is not a place to fill evidence gaps with estimates.

Neal's Services will not invent testimonials, before-and-after numbers, revenue changes, ROI, ranking improvements, or other outcomes simply because they would make stronger promotional copy.

Your Situation Will Be Different

Use the case to understand the method, not to assume the same prescription.

Owner-led businesses can share symptoms while having different constraints. Start with the actual situation, available evidence, and capacity to implement change.
